Dr. Anwar Shahzad
Dr. Anwar Shahzad is a Cardiologist with acomprehensive background in Cardiology. He completed his MBBS in 1997 as second best graduate with Gold medal and maintained a distinctive academic career as a medical student overall. He then undertook his specialist training with Royal Australasian College of Physicians across NZ and Australia and obtained his fellowship after finishing his Cardiology training at Flinders Medical Centre Adelaide I also got my MRCP UK diploma in 2007. He has been working as cardiologist and physician for the last 6 years now. He will see variety of cardiological and general medical cases and he has a have particular interest in coronary artery disease, cardiac failure, arrhythmias and valvular heart diseases. He regularly performs cardiac catheterisation and also have keen interest in echocardiography and other cardiac investigations like holter monitoring, stress test and ECGs.
While his interests lie predominantly in cardiology, he also consults on general medical conditions.
Appointments made monthly on Tuesdays, and alternate Mondays. Dr. Anwar Shahzad bulk bills all patients.
Dr. Hemchander Rao
Dr. Hemchander Rao is a General Surgeon who have been practicing in the Blacktown area now for the past 25 years. He performs all aspects of general surgery, including but not limited to gallbladder removals, appendix removals, ingrown toenail removals, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, carpal tunnel decompression.
Dr. Hemchander Rao bulk bills all pensioners and health care card holders. All other patients will be out of pocket $27.25 for the initial consultation and $15.45 for the second consultation.

Dr. Sameer Viswanathan, MBBS, FRACS(Orth), FAOrthA
Dr. Sameer Viswanathan is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon. His university training was at Sydney University. His surgical interests include arthroscopic surgery of the knee and ankle. He performs computer guided knee replacements. He has done fellowships in joint replacement and foot and ankle surgery. He is very experienced in the management of trauma and fracture management. He is a Visiting Medical Officer at Norwest Private Hospital, Macquarie University Hospital and Campbelltown Public Hospital.

Dr. Azhar Naseeb Khan
Dr. Azhar Naseeb Khan is a Occupational Health Specialist and has special interests in return to work, Injury Management and Chronic Pain. He speaks French, Turkish and Urdu.

Zhenggang John YAO
Dr Yao is a registered Chinese medical practitioner from the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia. He graduated from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1982 with a Bachelor Degree of Medicine, specialising in Acupuncture and Chinese Massage. He has 17 years of clinical experience in Australia and 13 years of clinical experience in P.R. China. He is a fellow member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association, and a lecturer at the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Services he provides include acupuncture, Chinese massage and cupping. He treats low back pain, headaches, migraine, arthritis, stroke, depression and most psychological disorders, insomnia, constipation, gynaecological disease, obesity, sporting injuries and strains. All private health fund rebates are available for his treatments.

CardioFirst is a specialist service provider for all cardiac investigations. If you have any specific heart related matter that may require specialist cardiac investigations, see our doctors for a referral to CardioFirst.
Most of the services are Bulk Billed. Services include ECHOCARDIOGRAMs, Stress ELECTROCARDIOGRAM, Holter Monitoring, Stress Echocardiograms. Fees apply for ambulatory Blood pressure monitoring. You will require a reference from your General Practitioner, however if you are unable to do so, you can seek a consultation from our medical practitioners and they will provide you with one if the believe it's clinically appropriate.
CardioFirst will be operating from our clinics every second Wednesday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
Free Hearing Test
We now offer free hearing test to eligible patients. We have hearing providers whom will provide services to eligible clients under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program. To be eligible to access the services provided by our hearing service provider, a person must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident and satisfy one of the following criteria:
• Pensioner Concession Card holder or their dependent
• Department of Veterans’ Affairs Gold or White Repatriation Health Card holder (specifically for war related hearing loss) or their dependent
• Sickness allowance recipient or their dependent
• Referred clients of an Australian Government funded vocational rehabilitation service
• Member of the Australian Defence Forces
• Children and young adults up to the age of 26 years
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples aged 50 years and over
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples participating in Community Development Employment Projects (CDEP )
